DHARAMSALA: In a significant step towards digital transformation, Kangra Central Cooperative Bank has introduced the QR Code payment facility to promote secure and hassle-free digital transactions. The new system was formally inaugurated by Bank Administrator Vinod Kumar (IAS).
With this initiative, customers of the bank can now make payments and transfer funds quickly and securely through their mobile phones, marking a major stride in making banking more accessible and technology-driven.
General Manager Rakesh Sharma said that the objective of launching the QR Code facility is to strengthen customer service through digital means. He emphasized that the bank is committed to supporting the Digital India campaign by providing a simple, secure, and efficient payment option to both customers and merchants.
He further informed that the facility will be available across all branches of the bank, encouraging cashless transactions and enhancing the efficiency and transparency of financial services.
With the launch of the QR Code payment system, the bank continues its journey of modernization and commitment to providing innovative and customer-friendly services.
