Thousands of people visit Amritsar, especially to Golden Temple, every day, but they are not allowed to visit the Jallianwala Bagh. When people visit the historic site, prople want to pay tributes to the souls of those who were killed on 13 April 1919
Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial Trust member and Rajya Sabha MP Shwait Malik said, “ Most of the renovation work of the site has been completed and awaits inauguration.
The monument is all set to be inaugurated. "I have already talked to the deputy commissioner in this regard. But the Covid-19 guidelines do not permit opening of the monument", he added.
