SGPC employees decide to donate one day's salary to help flood victims

AMRITSAR: In view of the huge loss caused to the people due to the devastation caused by floods in many areas of Punjab, the employees of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak have also come forward to help. Accordingly, it has been decided that the employees will donate one day's salary towards the relief services being provided by the Shiromani Committee.

Speaking in this regard, Secretary of the Shiromani Committee Pratap Singh said that in this hour of sorrow, the Sikh organization Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has been rendering continuous service since the first day of the flood. The employees of the organization are reaching out to the victims themselves and providing services.

He said that during any natural disaster, the employees of the Shiromani Committee have rendered great services. During natural disasters that have occurred at different times, the employees of the Shiromani Committee, while reaching out to the affected areas themselves and providing services, have also been helping the needy from their sala. ries every time.

He said that as per the instructions of the Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, for the past several days, our employees have been reaching out to the people surrounded by water without any concern and helping the needy on behalf of the organization. Today, all the employees have decided to give one day's salary to the ongoing relief services for the flood victims.

He said that the services will continue continuously until the situation improves by the Shiromani Committee.
On this occasion, apart from SGPC Secretary S. Pratap Singh, SGPC employees including Dharam Prachar Committee Secretary S. Balwinder Singh Kahlwan, Additional Secretary S. Gurinder Singh Mathrewal, S. Bijay Singh, Personal Secretary S. Shahbaz Singh, General Manager of Sri Darbar Sahib S. Bhagwant Singh Dhangera, Deputy Secretary S. Gurdial Singh, S. Gurnam Singh, S. Jaswinder Singh Jassi, S. Harbhajan Singh Wakta, S. Sukhbir Singh, Superintendent S. Nishan Singh, S. Malkit Singh Beharwal were present.
