TARN TARAN: Ahead of the Tarn Taran by-election, the Aam Aadmi Party has received a major boost. On Monday, Dalbir Singh, President of the Mandi Labour Union, along with his colleagues, left the Shiromani Akali Dal and joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Prominent among those who joined with him include Daya Singh, Sahib Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Pal Singh, Sabba Singh, and Maroo Singh.
Cabinet Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar, in the presence of AAP Working President Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi and State General Secretary Dr S S Ahluwalia, formally inducted and welcomed all the new members into the party. Minister Bhullar said that their joining reflects the immense happiness and satisfaction they have found in the honesty, development, and public welfare works of the Bhagwant Mann government.
