State-Level SAMRIDDHI Competition Inspires Pedagogical Innovation in Chandigarh

 CHANDIGARH: Samagra Shiksha successfully organized the state-level SAMRIDDHI 2025- 2026 at PM SHRI Government Girls Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 18, Chandigarh. The event witnessed active participation from teachers across various schools in the city, showcasing innovative teaching methodologies aimed at enhancing holistic learning experiences.15 teachers from various government and private schools participated in the competition.

The competition featured the presentation of art-integrated and subject-integrated lesson plans that emphasized interdisciplinary learning and creative pedagogy. Teachers brought forward unique approaches to make classroom learning more engaging, effective, and joyful for students.

A panel of esteemed judges, renowned for their extensive subject expertise in the field of education, evaluated the entries and provided constructive feedback and guidance to the participants. The panel lauded the efforts of the teachers in integrating creative strategies into their lesson plans and fostering an environment conducive to experiential learning.

The primary objective of the SAMRIDDHI Competition was to promote pedagogical excellence and equip educators with tools to effectively implement innovative teaching practices in classrooms. The event successfully highlighted the importance of aligning traditional teaching methods with modern-day interdisciplinary approaches to nurture the teaching capabilities of educators.

The event was a remarkable platform for teachers to share and learn best practices, ensuring a collective effort toward enriching the teaching-learning process in Chandigarh schools.

Result of the competition is as under First- Ms Vidhi Khullar and Ms Barkha Bali of Chitkara International, Sector 25 Chandigarh Second prize-Ms Jaspal Kaur, Mr Kapil Mohan Sood and Ms Sudeshna Chatterjee of PM Shri GGMSSS Sector 18 and GHS 53; third Dr Gunanidhi of GMSSS Sector 37 B Chandigarh; special prize given to GMSSS Sector 19 Chandigarh and Ms Suman, Ms Kiran Bala and Mr Ajay Kalwaniya of GMSSS Sector 26, Chandigarh.
