CHANDIGARH: In a significant development for the city's business community today, Ajay Gupta, a renowned and dynamic businessman from Chandigarh, was unanimously elected as the President of the Chandigarh Business Council (CBC). The decision was taken during the CBC's Governing Committee meeting, reflecting the deep confidence in his leadership and vision.
The committee decided to entrust the new term to a younger generation in order to incorporate innovative ideas, modern technology, and progressive thinking into the organization's operations. CBC has long worked to promote the growth, welfare, and problem-solving of the business community, and this change is seen as a visionary step.
Ajay Gupta, who previously served as CBC's Vice-Chairman, has now been appointed Chair, ensuring both continuity and innovation.
