AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has sought passports from the devotees for the jatha to be sent to visit the Gurdwaras in Pakistan on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of the fifth Guru, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji. This jatha is to be sent to Pakistan in June 2026, for which the process has been initiated as per the instructions of Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami.
In this regard, Secretary of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Pratap Singh said that the devotees for the Jatha going to Pakistan on the occasion of the martyrdom of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji can send their passports to the office of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar by 5 March 2026. He said that the devotees who want to go to the Jatha should submit their identity card along with the recommendation of the member Shiromani Gurdwara Committee. A copy of the ration card, Aadhar card or voter card can be given for the identity card. He said that the devotees should submit their passports on time so that they can be sent for further action.
