AMRITSAR: A bus was handed over to the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) by Punjab National Bank today for the convenience of the devotees reaching Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib.
On this occasion, Punjab National Bank Zonal Manager Amitabh Anand and Deputy Zonal Manager Bobby Tanwar and other officials handed over the keys of the bus to SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami.
The Shiromani Committee President while speaking said that the Shiromani Committee is doing great services in the field of education and health along with the communication arrangements of the Gurdwaras. The Sangat and various institutions also contribute a lot in the work done by the Shiromani Committee.
Similarly, today, a bus has been gifted by the Punjab National Bank for the convenience of the Sangat.
He said that Punjab National Bank has also participated in various services in the past.
Advocate Dhami thanked the bank officials and expressed the hope that the bank will continue to cooperate in the work of the Shiromani Committee.
Meanwhile, the President of the Shiromani Committee, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami and the Chief Secretary Kulwant Singh Manan also honored the Punjab National Bank officials by giving them a Siropao, a golden model of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib and a loi.
On this occasion, SGPC member Jasmer Singh Lachhru, Jathedar Kaur Singh, OSD Satbir Singh Dhami, Secretary Pratap Singh, Manager of Sri Darbar Sahib Bhagwant Singh Dhangera, Deputy Secretary S. Harbhajan Singh Wakta, Punjab National Bank's Mr. Kapil Kumar Gandhi Deputy Circle Head, S. Hemant Singh Shangara Deputy Circle Head, Mr. Gautam Sharma, S. Harpreet Singh Branch Head Sri Darbar Sahib, S. Fateh Singh, Mr. Ravinder Kumar, Mr. Arpana Sharma, Sandeep Sahota, Kanwaldeep Singh Khaira and Prabhjot Singh were also present.
