MC authorities removes more than 50 Hoardings of New CM Bhagwant Singh Mann from city Kapurthala alleges AAP leaders

KAPURTHALA:Resentment prevails among the AAP local leaders and supporters over the removing of more than 50 hoardings of new Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann from different parts of the city allegedly under political pressure .

AAP local leader Parminder Singh Dhot alleged that the local party unit had spent more than two lakh on these hoardings to congratulate Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on assuming the charge of Chief Minister and distributed sweets and kesari turbans to celebrate the victory of the AAP party.

He alleged that Municipal Corporation authorities are still working under the influence of congress and MC has insulted the new Chief Minister by tearing the hoardings and threw it in the garbage bin of Municipal Corporation dump.

He demanded strict action against the MC officials who removed the hoardings and tear it and also demanded that MC should put up the hoardings of the new Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann at conspicuous places from where it had removed.

Dhot said he has brought the matter to the notice of party high command.

Municipal corporation Commissioner Aditya Uppal when contacted by PTI on phone said he was unaware of the removal of hoardings of CM and said he would instruct the Executive officer of the corporation to reinstall it .Executive officer Brij Mohan when contacted said he would look into it.
