ASHOK KAURA | October 17, 2020 01:54 PM

PHAGWARA:Former Punjab Minister and Chairman of Punjab Agro Industries Chairman Joginder Singh Mann today dared the state BJP Chief Ashwani Sharma for any debate on the divisive and regressive policies of the BJP that are pushing the country in general and state in particular on lowest ebb.
In a statement issued here today, the former Minister said that though he does not support violence in politics as it is the battle of ideology but the attacks on BJP leaders across the state reflect the anger of people against their policies. He said that if these leaders will justice the policies that are ruining the common man then they will certainly retaliate. Mann said that ever since its inception the BJP has promoted the policy of divisiveness and communal hatred adding that the attacks on BJP leaders reflect the simmering anger against them.
The Chairman of Punjab agro Industries Corporation said that keep aside the sufferings of common man due to de-monetization and shattered dreams due to lucrative but fake promise of Ache Din, the countrymen have been facing lot of problems since the Modi government is in power. He said that the attacks on the BJP leadership is quite natural because how can farmers of state bear the insult meted out by the Modi government on them by calling them for talks and then not turning up there . Mann said that besides the anti-farmers bills, the rising attack on pride of Dalits in form of rising sexual assault on their daughters, rising atrocities on dalits and others are the major reasons due to which people are up in arms against the BJP leaders.
The former Punjab Minister said that if Ashwani Sharma has any doubt about his party’s role in these, then the BJP leader is always welcomed for debate on them. ‘”If Ashwani ji is in deep slumber I will wake him by exposing what his party is doing against people due to which they are facing their wrath”, added Mann.
