In memory of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s martyrdom, BJP to hold grand events in every town of the state

CHANDIGARH: To commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji with reverence and grandeur, the Punjab BJP has formed a state-level committee. Senior leaders from across the state have been included in this committee to ensure that preparations for the events at the town level are carried out in an organized manner. 

In this committee, former MP from Patiala, Maharani Preneet Kaur, has been appointed as the Coordinator, while State General Secretary Parminder Brar has been assigned the responsibility of In-charge. 

In addition, Dr. Subhash Sharma (State Vice President), Jatinder Mittal (State Vice President), Manjit Singh Manna, Didar Singh Bhatti, S.S. Channi (State Spokesperson), and Shivbir Singh Rajan (former District President) have been appointed as Co-coordinators. 

According to the BJP, this committee will organize various religious and cultural programs across the state to spread Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s message and teachings among the people. The party added that seminars will also be held in schools and colleges to acquaint the younger generation with the life and martyrdom of Guru Sahib, so that this commemoration becomes a symbol of devotion, unity, and national dedication.
