CHANDIGARH: Condemning the brutal daylight killing of a Kabbadi player in Jagraon today, Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today said that Punjab had already stepped into the “jungle raj” under the Aam Aadmi Party government as the criminals have no fear of law and they have the audacity to kill people at their own will.
Expressing sympathies with the bereaved family, Warring while reacting to Tejpal’s killing, said, the way his assassins attacked him quite close to the office of the SSP Jagraon, shows that they did not have any fear of law. “This has become a routine in Punjab that the killers can kill at their will and there is nobody to stop them”, he remarked, while pointing out, it has now become a routine in Punjab like it once used to be in the states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
