AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Mr Harjinder Singh Dhami yesterday released the book 'Truth About Nabha' which was republished by Dharam Prachar Committee.
Speaking on the occasion of releasing the book at the office of the SGPC , Mr Harjinder Singh Dhami, said that the Shiromani Committee was republishing important documents related to Sikh history so that the sangat could know about history.
He said that this book is a historical document related to Maharaja Ripudaman Singh of Nabha, in which the story of betrayal of Maharaja Nabha by the British is recorded.
He said that this book was published by the Shiromani Committee in 1923, which has now been reprinted so that the sangat can get guidance from the history of their forefathers. This book will be provided free of cost by the Shiromani Committee.
On this occasion the junior vice president of the Shiromani Committee Principal Surinder Singh, general secretary Karnail Singh Panjoli, Member of the Interim Committee. Sarwan Singh Kular, Surjit Singh Garhi, Jarnail Singh Dogranwala, Balwinder Singh Weinpuin, Harjap Singh Sultanwind, Gurinderpal Singh Gora, Amarjit Singh Bandala, Bibi Gurpreet Kaur, Jodh Singh Samra, Baba Gurpreet Singh, Incharge Literature. Gurmeet Singh etc. were present.
