Dead body of 48-year-old Harjinder reaches India from Greece

AMRITSAR: The body of 48-year-old Harjinder Singh, son of Dilbagh Singh, belonging to village Dhaul near Balachaur tehsil of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, reached Sri Guru Ramdas International Airport Amritsar from Greece this morning and was sent to his home through the free ambulance service of Sarbat Da Bhala Trust.

Sharing information in this regard, Dr. S.P. Singh Oberoi, a prominent businessman of Dubai and founder of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust, said that Harjinder, like other youth, had been working hard in Greece for the better future of his family for the last 20 years.

Dr. Oberoi also said that Harjinder has left behind his 95-year-old parents, his wife, daughter and son, crying and wailing.

He said that the concerned district team of the trust will soon inform the family about the financial condition and then a monthly pension will be provided to Harjinder Singh's family as per their requirement.

He said that the victim's family had contacted his Amritsar team and informed them that Harjinder Singh had died in a tragic motorcycle accident in Greece on July 14.

He said that early this morning, the body of the deceased was received from Amritsar airport in the presence of the victim's family by the representative of the trust, Rajbir Singh, and was sent to his house through the trust's '
It is worth mentioning that under the patronage of Dr. Oberoi, the bodies of about 421 unfortunate youth have been delivered to their heirs so far and for the past few months, a free ambulance service has also been started to transport the bodies of the deceased from Amritsar airport to their homes.

Meanwhile, the cousins of the deceased, Harnek Singh, Nachhattar Singh and Kala Singh, etc., present at the airport, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. S.P. Singh Oberoi for his great help during this difficult time.
