AMRITSAR: Along with the teams of the corporation, which are working first to get rid of the garbage problem in the city, the Rapid Response Teams formed by the Municipal Corporation and the Deputy Commissioner Amritsar , whose main objective is to immediately remove garbage from the main roads , have also started working.
It is worth mentioning that these teams will work till the new tender is issued for garbage collection from the city and in this, the support of tractor trolleys, tippers and other machinery has been provided by Kar Sewa Wale Baba Bhuri Wale and Dera Beas.
Giving information in this regard, Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Sakshi Sahni said that until the new tender for collecting the city's garbage has been given by the Municipal Corporation, the work will be done by forming rapid action teams with the support of these organizations and the city will be made garbage free.
Municipal Commissioner Gulpreet Singh Aolakh said that with the cooperation of the above organizations, the Municipal Corporation has deployed its employees and they have started the work of lifting garbage in the city. He said that Additional Commissioner Mr. Surinder Singh and Corporation Health Officer Dr. Kiran have also been deployed as the nodal officers of the rapid response teams , who will prepare their own route and get the garbage lifted from the city. He said that with the cooperation of these organizations, garbage has started being lifted from the city.
