SOI to file defamation case against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for using derogatory language against organisation

CHANDIGARH: Students Organisation of India (SOI), which is student wing of Shiromani Akali Dal, head Ranbir Singh Rana has announced to file a defamation case against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for using foul and defamatory language against SOI and also challenged him to get dope test of himself and his cabinet colleagues done along with members of SOI.

Addressing a press conference here today, SOI head said that Chief Minister used highly defamatory and foul language against SOI during his function at Fatehgarh Sahib recently. He said that though Bhagwant Mann is on a Constitutional post but he never shows decency in his public conduct. He said that as by profession he was a stage artist, he still behaves in that manner at every stage and even using highly objectionable language against women in front of young girls which it too shameful for him.

He said that SOI is student wing of Akali Dal and its members are highly intellectual class. He said that most of the members of the organisation are having Master’s degress and many among them are Ph.D degree holder. He said that on the other hand recently PA of his close aide in Majithia Talbir Gill was caught selling ‘Chitta’ and similarly some other leaders of ruling party were also caught selling drugs in Amritsar and other parts of the state.

He challenged Bhagwant Mann to get his and all his cabinet colleagues dope test done along with members of SOI which will make clear to public who is a drug addict.

He said that we as members of SOI are ready for this dope test at a date and time chosen by Chief Minister.
