AAP set to form government in Punjab with clean sweep: Exit polls

CHANDIGARH: Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) is set to form a government in Punjab with landslide victory. AAP may sweep the elections with seats between 80 to 100, according to exit polls shown by various news channels.

AAP has projected Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann as candidate for CM and luck seems to be favouring him this time. According to exit polls Punjab is expected to set up new record of seats and also installing a first time MLA as Chief Minister of Punjab. SAD may also get lowest ever seats in history of Punjab.

As per estimates at an average in Malwa AAP is expected to win 52 to 58 seats out of 69 seats, In Majha region AAP may get 11 to 14 setas and in Doaba AAP can get 3 to 5 seats.

SAD is expected to get 8 to 10 seats in Doaba region and in Majha party may get 5 to 8 seats and in Malwa region Akalis may win 10 to 14 seats.

Congress may get 9 to 10 seats in Doaba, 5 to 7 seats in Mahja 12 to 16 seats in Malwa.

BJP and allies may get 2 seats in Doaba region and 1 or 2 seats in rest of Punjab.

The news 24-Chankaya exit poll has given 100 seats to AAP, just 6 seats to Shiromani Akali Dal and BSP alliance. Congress is getting 10 seats and BJP one seat.

AAJ Tak News Channel (India Today-Exis poll) has given 76 to 90 seats to AAP, Congress 19 to 31 seats, SAD 7 to 11 seats and BJP 1 to 4 seats.

Republic TV exit poll perdicts AAP will get 62 to 70 seats, SAD+ 16 to 24 seats, Congress 23 to 31 seats and BJP+ 1 to 3 seats.

NewsX-Poll strat shows 56 to 91 seats to AAP, Congress 24 to 2o seats, SAD abd BSP 22 to 26 seats and abjp 1 to 6 seats.

ETG research exit poll gives AAP 70 to 75 seats, Congress 27 to 33 seats, SAD+ 7 to 13 and BJP 3 to 7.

Times Now news channel says AAP will get 60 to 84 votes, SAD 12 to 19 seats, Congress 18 to 31 seats and BJP 3 to 7 seats.

India News has given majority to AAP with 60 to 84 seats, SAD 12 to 19 sets, Congress 18 to 31 seats and BJP 3 to 7 seats.

ABP news channels says AAP to get 51 to 61 seats, SAD 20 to 26 seats, Congress 22 to 28 seats.

Zee-designbox exit poll says that AAP will win seats between 52 to 61, Congress is expected to get  26-33 seats and SAD  may get 24-33 seats while BJP is gettign 3 t0 7 seats.

Dainik Bhaskar exit poll says AAP will get 38 to 44 seats, SAD 30 to 39 seats, Congress 26 to 32 votes and BJP 7 to 10 seats.
