Both Badals, Captain, Channi, Sidhu, Majithia, Manpreet Badal lost elections
CHANDIGARH: The strong wave of Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) has wiped out all political big guns of major political parties. This is first time that such a landslide victory is made by any political party in Punjab.

Those lost the elections included Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi(both seats of Chamkaur Sahib and Bhadaur), SAD Chief Patron five time CM Parkash Singh Badal, SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal, former Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh, PPCC president Navjot Singh Sidhu, former minister Bikram Singh Majithia, Parminder Singh Dhindsa and Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal.
Adesh Partap Singh Kairon son in law of Parkash Singh Badal has also lost the election. Former Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu is among the senior Congress leaders who lost the elections.
