FEROZEPUR: Under the direction of District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan, rehearsals of election officials and staff were conducted in all the constituencies.
During the rehearsal Additional District Election Officer-cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur Mr. Amit Mahajan directed the concerned officers on the occasion to conduct rehearsal at Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical University, Constituency 077, Ferozepur Rural.
Election rehearsal was conducted at Manohar Lal Senior Secondary School Ferozepur Cantonment Constituency 076 Ferozepur Urban under the guidance of SDM-cum-RO Om Prakash.

During the rehearsal held at Shaheed Bhagat Singh State Technical University, Master Trainers Mahinder Singh, Charan Singh, Rajesh Jain, Rajiv Saini, Gurmeet Singh, Kapil Kumar and Rupinder Kapoor talked about the use of electronic machine during the election process, working of VVPAT, Presiding Officer.
The duties of APRO were explained in detail. Form No. 12 was filled up by the polling staff so that the polling staff could exercise their voting right by using postal ballot paper.
Apart from this, the present polling staff was also given a booster dose of Kovid. Additional District Electoral Officer Ferozepur Amit Mahajan also instructed the polling staff present to pay full attention to the guidelines issued by Kovid during the Assembly elections. Harjinder Singh DDPO Ferozepur-cum-Assistant Returning Officer and Gurmeet Singh BDPO Ferozepur-cum-Assistant Returning Officer were also specially present on the occasion.
