AMRITSAR: Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) proudly announces that its distinguished alumnus and Professor of Eminence, Mr. Jaspreet Singh, Attorney (USA), has been appointed to the Transition Advisory Council of the U.S. state of New Jersey. He is the only Sikh and Punjabi to be inducted into the incoming administration’s core advisory structure.
The Transition Advisory Council has been constituted by Governor-Elect of New Jersey, Mikie Sherrill, to guide key governance, policy and administrative priorities as she prepares to assume office. Mr. Jaspreet Singh’s inclusion signals strong recognition of his professional expertise, public service, and community leadership in the United States.
New Jersey is home to some of the world’s most respected academic and research institutions, including Princeton University, historically associated with Albert Einstein. The appointment of a GNDU alumnus to such an important policy body underscores the global impact and excellence of GNDU graduates.
Prof. (Dr.) Karamjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor, GNDU, while congratulating Mr. Singh, said:
