NAKODAR: The Nakodar sadar police have booked a father son duo on the charges of assault and criminal intimidation. The investigating officer(IO) Janak Raj said that the accused have been identified as Tarsem Singh a resident of Khan Pur Dhadda village and his son Laddi .
Jasvir Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused attacked him with sharp edged weapons and seriously injured him and threatened him with dire consequences.
IO said that a case under sections 323, 324 and 326 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt by dangerous weapons) 506(criminal intimidation) and 34 (committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused. No arrests have been made and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused.
