CHENNAI:Chennai Customs on Tuesday said it had seized a total of 1.48 kg gold from two passengers in the last two days.
In a tweet, Chennai Customs said officials at the Chennai International Airport seized the gold, valued at Rs 82.3 lakh, from passengers who arrived from Sharjah and Dubai.
The two receivers, who were outside the airport, were also arrested and further investigation is on, the Customs said.
