CHANDIGARH: Vishvas Foundation, Panchkula in association with Himachal Mahasabha (Regd), Chandigarh organized a blood donation camp here at the Community Centre, Sector 48-A, Chandigarh on Sunday. A team doctors from PGI, Chandigarh collected blood.
During the camp 76 units of blood was collected and of the total donors, 17 blood donors could not donate blood because of paucity of time.
Dr Sikandar Kumar, member of Parliament from Himachal Pradesh and the former vice chancellor of HPU was the chief guest and inaugurated the camp. Dr Raj Bahadur, renowned Ortho was also present during the camp.
The Himachal Maha Sabha has honored the dignatories before the start of blood donation camp. The present of the Himachal Maha Sabha thank ed all who attended the camp especially who donated blood for a noble cause. He has also assured that the Sabha would also hold such blood donation camps in future also.
