CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Governor and Administrator of the Union Territory, Chandigarh, Gulab Chand Kataria, interacted with a group of IAS probationers who visited Punjab Raj Bhavan today.
During the interaction, Kataria congratulated the officers on their success in the All India Services Examination and encouraged them to carry out their responsibilities with sincerity and dedication. He emphasized the importance of good governance, efficient public service delivery, and timely execution of welfare and development schemes.
The Governor urged the probationers to use their education and training to serve the people effectively, acting not only as administrators but also as their friends and guides. He advised them to uphold the law with fairness while maintaining a humane and empathetic approach in their dealings with the public.
Highlighting the significance of proper planning and its execution, Shri Kataria underscored the need for a deep understanding of the Constitution, which he said would guide them throughout their service. He also recommended that they learn the state language to better connect with and understand the concerns of the common people.
The Governor extended his best wishes to the probationers for a successful and fulfilling career.
