CHANDIGARH: The Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association in collaboration with Blood Contributors Club and the High Court Employees’ Union, in association Rotary & Blood Bank Society Resource Centre, Sector -37, Chandigarh organized a blood donation camp in the Bar Library, Punjab and Haryana High Court Chandigarh.
The blood donation camp received an overwhelming response with 130 units of blood donated on this special occasion. What was even more encouraging was the fact that litigants and other visitors to the High Court premises and two handicap person also participated actively in promoting this noble cause. The Blood Donation Camp is always organized under the able guidance of Sh. M.L. Sarin, Sr. Advocate, who himself is also a centurion donor.
The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ravi Shanker Jha, Chief Justice of the Punjab & Haryana High Court alongwith his companion other Hon’ble Judges. Mr. Santokhwinder Singh Grewal (Nabha), President and entire Executive Committee of the Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association also participated actively in furthering such a noble cause by donating blood. The Members of Punjab & Haryana High Court Employees’ Union and the Clerks’ Association also came forward enthusiastically to make the Blood Donation Camp success.
