CITCO celebrates World Tourism Day with great enthusiasm

CHANDIGARH: CITCO is preparing itself to celebrate the  World Tourism week and Navratri Food and
Dandiya Festival with full fervour and enthusiasm  Theme  for the tourism day 2022 is “ Rethinking
Tourism.
As a part of World Tourism Day i.e 27 September , CITCO will arrange complimentary rides on
its popular Hop on Hop Off tourist coach for all tourists.  This year , CITCO has arranged a city guided
tour for the students of GMSSS 10 –Tourism Vocational Course . The kids of Gurukul school IT park
will also explore the city . The bus, decorated with balloons, will take the tourists and visitors around
the city throughout the day.  
  Commemorating World Tourism Day,  CITCO Hotel Mountview has added charm to the
festivities with special offers to mark World Tourism Day by extending a 25 per cent discount on a la
carte in Round the Clock Coffee Shop . The hotel  has come up with a special Exotic Multi cuisine
buffet where  food lovers can enjoy the exotic spread of starters, International salads, a surprising
blend of sizzling spicy Hot and Mild flavours all around the world with unique combinations of
desserts. This added a tint to world tourism day. 
The celebrations will begin from September 26, with the unfurling of Dandia festival by the
artists from Ahmedabad Gujarat. With a beautiful fusion of dazzling outfits, an incredible blend of
folk and contemporary music, these 15 Gujarati artists are bringing the authentic folk dance of
Gujarat here in Chandigarh . The Nine days festival will be welcomed with Navratri special feast and
evening of dancing to the traditional forms of Garba and Dandiya at Sukhna Lake . Through the
festival, tourists and visitors can witness artists decked up in the most colorful outfits wearing
traditional clothes from the land of Gujarat.
For the Couples, the entry pass is for Rs 300 and Rs 200 for stag. 
  To add merriment to the festival, the team of Chef lakeview Sukhna Lake has created a special
Navratri thali with a festive atmosphere, without compromising on flavour. Indulge in Sabudana
papad , kuttu puri , sweet & savoury lassi , shahi kofta , samak and much more at a price of Rs 250
net.
If you’re fasting or want to indulge in some delectable offerings that are not the usual, Hotel
Mountview has offerings such as sabudana kheer , kachalu ke kofte  , kaju Makhana curry and  more
to satiate your Navratri hunger. End the meal on a sweet note with their Sabudana Kheer for a
satiating and fulfilling meal. This is available at Rs 400 plus taxes.
Hotel Parkview has some amazing festive offerings for you. The Palm restaurant is serving up
its exceptional Sattva menu, which features some delectable offerings such as Arbi , kaddu ki sabji,
sabudana kheer , samak rice . All this can be enjoyed in Rs 275 net.
Hotel Shivalikview is known for its delectable Indian cuisine, and the restaurant curates a
special menu to spread the cheer and amp up the joy this festive season. The Nine Nights Menu,
featuring some carefully crafted delicacies for the festival, features traditional favourites like Kaddu
ki sabji , sabudana aloo tikki , sabudana kheer etc at Rs 300 plus taxes
