RBU pharma students get placements as pharmacy officer

MOHALI: Riding high on the crest of placements the Rayat Bahra University has achieved another milestone. This time it’s the students of the University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences who have done the university proud.

Five students of the University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences have been selected for appointment as Pharmacy Officers.
Simran Singla and Monika Rani, dedicated research scholars of M.Pharmacy (Pharmacology), of the batch 2018-2020, Sudam Husain, Amit Kumar and Rahul, B. Pharmacy students, batch 2013-2017, cleared the written test and interview conducted by Baba Farid University in their first attempt. Thus they got selected for appointment as Pharmacy Officers.

Vice Chancellor, Prof. Parvinder Singh and Registrar Dr. B.S.Satyal lauded the achievements of the five students. Chancellor of the RBU Gurvinder Singh Bahra said it was a commendable achievement of the students and the university had decided to honour them. Dr. Gurfateh Singh, head of the University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, also congratulated the students.
