Khalsa University Amritsar (KUA) which has started functioning from the current 2025-26 Academic Session is all set to be the professional higher education institution. Under the aegis of historic Khalsa College Charitable Society (KCCS), Amritsar, KUA has chalked out an ambitious plan to adopt various unconventional and future-oriented courses and programs, needed as per the requirements of the upcoming society and industry.
KCCS is already running 20 other educational Institutions including conic Khalsa College Amritsar (KCA) and the setting up of KUA is the another milestone carved. The University aims to be an independent institution of learning and research. The office bearers of the management with abundance of blessings from almighty Akal Purakh Waheguru are working day and night to fulfill dreams of their forefathers; to provide scientific knowledge to every strata of society.
The KCCS management is also coming up with an Ultra-Modern IT Institute, to be part of the KUA. It is also running the Gurmat Studies Centre. The KCCS today has emerged as one of the most prestigious organizations, managing educational institutions in the country. All Gurpurab celebrations are religiously organized programs aired live on KCGC-TV (kcgctv.com).
KUA Chancellor and KCCS President Sardar Satayjit Singh Majithia Ji and KU Pro Chancellor and KCCS Honorary Secretary Sardar Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina Ji along with their team are making tireless efforts to strengthen higher education. Council’s Chancellor S. Rajmohinder Singh Majitha, Rector Sardar Lakhbir Singh Lodhinangal, Vice President S.Swinder Singh Kathunangal, additional honourary secretary S. Jatinder Singh Brar, joint secretaries including S.Gunbir Singh, S.Ajmer Singh Heir, S.
