KCA students made an educational visit to ‘The Tribune and Network-18’

AMRITSAR: The students of the Department of Journalism, Khalsa College, Amritsar (KCA), undertook an educational trip to The Tribune and Network 18, Chandigarh. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to aspiring journalists and help them understand the functioning of prominent media organizations. During the visit, students observed newsroom operations, reporting, editing, and broadcasting processes. They also interacted with senior journalists and media professionals, who shared valuable insights about the changing landscape of media and the importance of ethical journalism. 

The trip was organized under the guidance of Dr. Sania Marwaha, Head, Department of Journalism, and the students were accompanied by Prof. Surbhi Sharma, Prof. Hari Singh, and Prof. Kajal. Their presence and mentorship added immense value to the learning experience, ensuring the students gained maximum exposure from the visit. 

The Department of Journalism expressed gratitude to the management of The Tribune and Network 18 for their warm hospitality and for providing such an informative and inspiring platform for the students. The two-day educational visit proved to be a perfect combination of learning and exploration, leaving lasting memories for everyone involved.
