AMRITSAR : Khalsa College of Nursing (KCN) today got a new Principal as Dr. Amanpreet Kaur, serving as Professor in same institution joined her duty in presence of Governing Council (KCGC)’s top functionaries including honourary secretary Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina and other office-bearers. She is Ph.D, having vast teaching experience. She is an alumni of prestigious Symbiosis International University, Pune, Maharashtra.
KCN’s present incumbent Dr. Kamaljit Kaur who was on extension after retirement meanwhile was given the warm send off. While welcoming the new Principal, Chhina said the KCN was a reputed College for the nursing education in the region and they had high hopes from Dr. Amanpreet Kaur.
He said Dr. Amanpreet’s experience in academics would be an asset for the institution which offers a number of professional nursing courses. She has written a number of research papers, attended international conferences and her doctorate is in Psychiatric Mental Health,
