Bernabe terminates Sumit Nagal's winning spree in Germany

CHANDIGARH: Bernabe Zapata Miralles of Spain, ranked 139th terminated the winning spree of Sumit Nagal of India, ranked 140th, in the € 88, 520 ATP Challenger 7th Heilbronn Neckarcup, Germany, on Thursday.
In the quarter-final match lasting one hour and 12 minutes Bernabe Zapata Miralles beat Sumit Nagal in straight sets 6-3, 6-1.
Bernabe converted five out of eight breakpoints while Sumit won one out of three breakpoints. The Indian player registered 63 percent of his first service in. However he could win only 15 out of 32 points (47 per cent ) on his first service.
Bernabe converted two out of three breakpoints. His first service was 53 percent (28/53) but claimed 68 percent points (19/28).
Sumit Nagal earned €2489 and 18 ATP points.
