AMRITSAR: The sound system of modern technology at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib was inaugurated today after the Ardas by the President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami. The service of this sound system has been done by the families from England.
The President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Advocate Dhami, who arrived on the occasion, said that keeping in mind the convenience of the devotees, various services are organized from time to time at the Sri Darbar Sahib complex. In the past, the Interim Committee had decided to install a sound system of modern technology at Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib. The service of this work has been done by the families of England residents Gursewak Singh Shergill, Gulinder Singh, Jatinder Singh Hair, Ranjit Singh Saggu, Pardeep Singh Nijjar and Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.
The SGPC President said that discussions were also held with Gursewak Singh and his colleagues about the Sikh Mission established by the SGPC in England. Through this center, the SGPC will support the English Sangat while they come for darshan of the Gurdwaras and will also carry out religious propaganda work.
He said that for this, representatives of the SGPC will also be sent to England. He said that for these works, the SGPC's internal member Harjinder Singh and the member from Mumbai Gurinder Singh Bawa have also been supporting.
On this occasion, Gursewak Singh Shergill, who arrived from England, said that due to the grace of Guru Sahib, he has been blessed with the support of various families to perform this service.
While thanking the supporting families, he prayed to Guru Sahib to give him the strength to perform the services of Guru Ghar in the same way.
He said that this is a sound system with modern technology, of which 130 speakers have been installed at various places in the Sri Darbar Sahib complex. On this occasion, the families who performed the service were also honored by the President of the Shiromani Committee, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami at the Information Center of Sri Darbar Sahib.
