B'desh suspends public transport to rein in pandemic

CHANDIGARH: In order to further streamline and ensure hassle-free supply of liquid medical oxygen (LMO) in the state, the Punjab Government on Monday decided to increase the rates as per the present market rates for transportation of the life-saving gas from the manufacturers and suppliers outside the state as well as from the air separation and refilling units within the state.

Delhi Transport Department is all set to introduce one-month final phase trial of 'Chartr' app at DIMTS buses

NEW DELHI: The final phase trials of the contactless E-ticketing app 'Chartr' will begin in all 2990 buses of Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System (DIMTS) Ltd. from Monday. The Transport Department of the Delhi Government is all set for its one-month final phase of trial of the contactless e-ticketing services that was launched in August 2020, and scaled up in the wake of the COVID pandemic. The trial would cover all the routes of DIMTS buses. In the last week of February, the trial of this app was extended to all 3760 DTC buses till March 31st.
