KAITHAL: The Guhla police have arrested three persons in the case of murder of a youth of Theh Mukerian village in this district.The police spokesman said that according to Ashok, a resident of Theh Mukerian, his 18 -year -old son Jaimal used to have a conversation with a young woman living in his neighborhood. Due to which his family had become target of neighbouring family, however later Two families reconciled.
On the evening of June 13, Vikram of the same village came to his house and took Jaimal with him for a walk . After some time, he went near the government school to see his son who was crying Bachao Bachao Bachao. Sunny, Pravesh, Vikram, Chhinda of the village were attacking Jaimal with sugar cane cutting tools and knives. All those who ran away with weapons on seeing him all fled from the spot . The injured Jaimal was referred to the government hospital Guhla.
Later Jaimal died during treatment at Rajendra Hospital Patiala where he was referred. A case was registered in the police station Guhla. The spokesperson said that Vikram, Sunny and Chhinda, residents of the same village, were arrested by the team of police station Guhla SHO SI Vijendra Singh. During the preliminary interrogation, the accused have confessed to carrying out the crime due to a rivalry against Jaimal who talked with the girl. The accused are likely to be produced in the court .
