KAITHAL: State President of Youth Revolutionary Organization Gurdeep Dhanda has expressed strong displeasure over the harassment of a female IPS officer by Haryana Cabinet Minister Anil Vij during a district public grievances committee meeting held in kaithal on Friday which was presided over by Haryana cabinet minister Anil Vij . The minister allegedly snubbed kaithal SP Upasana while ignoring her repeated replies given to minister during hearing a complaint during meeting

The organization has condemned it as unfair and unconstitutional. In the press conference, Gurdeep Dhanda said that threatening a police officer in a public meeting is directly weakening the administrative system. He said that if police officer SP is threatened then it means that criminals are being encouraged. This will not be accepted under any circumstances. Dhanda said that the minister should avoid making such statements from the public platform. He said that law and order operates within the ambit of the Constitution and not on personal statements. He also said that the minister should go to Mukherjee Nagar in Delhi for four days and take classes from IAS and IPS coaching institutes so that they understand how much hard work and struggle it takes to become an officer. Gurdeep Dhanda also called upon women police officers and retired police employees association to raise their voice on this issue. The organization decided that if the minister is present in the next grievance meeting, he will be opposed. Gurdeep Dhanda, citing an old saying, said that ministers vent out their political anger on officials, which is not in accordance with democratic decorum. Kuldeep Chahal, Govind Sharma, Rinka, Kala, Ankush and other workers were present on this occasion.
