Four accused arrested by Special Detective Unit in the case of looting cash by assaulting petrol pump employees, all sent to jail

KAITHAL: Taking immediate action as per the instructions of SP Rajesh Kalia, in the case of looting of cash by assaulting petrol pump employees in village Kharak Pandawa of Kalayat, Special Detective UnitThe accused Ankush, Ravi, Sonu, Rohit, residents of Kalayat, were controlled by the team of ASI Raghubir Singh under the leadership of in-charge SI Ramesh Kumar.

Police spokesperson said that according to the complaint of Ashok Kumar, resident of village Kharak Pandawa, he works as a salesman at SS filling station Kharak Pandawa. He, Zora and Sachin were on night duty at around 12 o'clock on the night of 7 November. Around 2.30 in the night, two boys came riding on a Bullet motorcycle. He neither got petrol filled and started monitoring the people present at the pump.

Then after about 5 to 10 minutes three persons arrived on a motorcycle. 5 The young men told him to take out all the money he has and give it to us. When we refused to give them money, those 5 persons came inside the manager's office and started beating us and forcibly took away my Aadhaar card along with about Rs 24, 000 from my pocket. The accused hurt him a lot with sticks and slaps and punches. His companions tried hard to save him but the accused ran away after threatening him. A case was registered in this regard in Kalayat police station. The bike used in the crime was recovered from the possession of the accused. After extensive interrogation, all the accused were sent to judicial custody as per the orders of the court.
