BADDI: The Department of Industries, Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh Centre for Entrepreneurship Development(HPCD) the Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED), successfully organized a one-day capacity building workshop and demo day for startups at Baddi.
DeepikaKhatri, Joint Director Industries and Executive Director of HPCED, was the chief guest, delivering an inspiring address. The event aimed to sensitize stakeholders about the initiatives taken under the H.P. Start-up scheme and provide a platform for emerging entrepreneurs to showcase their innovations.
Satvinder Singh, Senior Consultant at RCED, led the registration process, followed by a welcome address and overview of the start-up ecosystem by Mr. Paramjit Singh, Director of RCED. The workshop featured insightful presentations on CM Start-up initiatives by Mr. Manjider Singh from EY and industrial solutions from four innovative start-ups: Appletree Health Products, Intiot Service Private Limited, Skilllabs, and Leopan Motors Pprivate Limited.
Key sessions included discussions on MSME expectations from large enterprises and the government, led by Mr. Ashok Rana, President of Himachal Laghu Udyog Sangh, and knowledge-based sessions by Mr. Rajeev Aggarwal and Mr. Y.S. Guleria of BBNIA. Baddi Entrepreneurship assured all possible support, guidance, and monitoring to the start-up of Himachal Pradesh (HP). They suggested Mrs. Deepika and Mr. Yogesh Gupta to share the list of start-up with their associations. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Mr Yogesh Gupta, Deputy Director of Industries.
