KAITHAL: Kaithal, September 21, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on Sunday, condoled the death of martyr Lance Nayak Narendra Singh Sindhu (28) in Rohera village of district Kaithal and of soldier Pankaj Rana in Kalayat and paid homage to the martyrs. The Chief Minister met family members and consoled them . The Chief Minister paid floral tributes on the photographs of both the soldiers and expressed condolences.
Significantly, the brave soldier Narendra Singh Sindhu was martyred in Kulgaon while fighting the terrorists. He eliminated terrorists despite being shot. At the same time, Pankaj Rana, posted in the Indian Army, died during treatment on 9 September after a road accident. Nayak Pankaj was posted in 51 engineering regiments of the Indian Army for 11 years in the Dras sector of Srinagar.
The Chief Minister said that both soldiers sacrificed for the country. He prayed to almighty God to give solace to departed soldiers and and give respective families strength to suffer grief.
On this occasion, CM met the family members of Narendra Sindhu his father Dalbir Singh Sindhu, mother Roshni Devi, brother Virendra Singh, Rajkumar, Ramkumar, Dheera, Karma Singh, Vikram, besides Nayak Pankaj's father Shamsher, elder brother Ravi and other family members. On this occasion, District President BJP Jyoti Saini, senior BJP leader Ashok Gurjar, former minister Kamlesh Dhanda, former district president Manish Kathwad, BJP leader Ajit Chahal, Munish Sharma, DC Preeti from the district administration, SP Karnal Ganga Ram Poonia, SDM Ajay Singh and Ajay Hooda, District Soldier and Paramilitary Welfare Officer Colonel OP Sharma and other officers, ex -servicemen Welfare Association officials, ex -servicemen of the village and a large number of villagers were present.
