ADJ Court Kaithal awards 20 years sentence, imposes Rs 40000 fine in rape case .

KAITHAL: The court of Additional Sessions Judge Anupmish Modi, in the case of rape of a minor girl, has sentenced a youth to 20 years imprisonment and a fine of ₹ 40, 000. In case of non-payment of fine, he will have to undergo additional punishment of 6 months.

In this regard, the victim's mother had filed a case number 85 under various sections in the IPC in city police station on 28 February 2023. PP Vikas Sharma appeared on behalf of the prosecution and he was assisted by advocates Arpit Gupta and Ajay Gupta. After a few days, due to the girl having stomach ache, medically examined and was found to be pregnant. On complaint police registered a case and arrested all three accused and produced them before the court.
