CHANDIGARH: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal today appointed 33 District Presidents (both Urban and Rural) after holding consultations with district Delegates and party Observers.
Disclosing this, senior party leader Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said the district Delegates held meetings to recommend district Presidents in the districts which were presided over by designated party Observers.
He said following this the Observers submitted the recommendations to the party head office today evening following which the appointments were made.
The district Urban and Rural Presidents of Pathankot have not been finalised. The responsibility to reorganise this district has been given to Senior leader & Core Committee Member S Gurbachan Singh Babbehali.
