SRI ANANDPUR SAHIB: During a special function organized by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee at Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, Jathedars of Takht Sahib, Nihang Singh Dals, Sikh organizations, sects and Sabha societies honoured Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj of Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib by presenting turbans.
During this event, the Head Granthi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh, President of the Shiromani Committee Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, Jathedar of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Giani Tek Singh, Head of Shiromani Panth Akali Buddha Dal Jathedar Balbir Singh 96th Crore, Head of Dal Baba Bidhi Chand Baba Avtar Singh Sursingh, Head of Tarna Dal Baba Bakala Baba Joga Singh, Jathedar of Takht Sri Patna Sahib Giani Baldev Singh, Deputy Jathedar of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib Giani Jyotiinder Singh, Baba Nihal Singh Tarna Dal Harian Velan Wale Baba Nagar Singh, Head of Damdami Taksal Sangrawan Giani Ram Singh, Additional Head Granthi of Patna Sahib Giani Gurdial Singh, Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Baba Jagjit Singh Harkhowal and heads of various organizations honored Singh Sahib.
Addressing a large gathering of devotees on this occasion, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj, the acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Jathedar of Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, said that the uniqueness of the Sikh Panth is that its organizations have always upheld the Panthic traditions.
He said that the Khalsa Panth is big and will remain big, whereas I bow down before the Panth not once but a thousand times. The Khalsa Panth is the form of the Guru and I have always tried to serve the Panth according to the traditions, customs and principles of the Panth.
Giani Kuldeep Singh said that the gathering of the Panth on the occasion of the 350th martyrdom centenary is an expression of Panthic unity.
Terming the history of Sikh organizations and sects as great, he said that the traditions of the nation are alive only because of these organizations, sects and taksals.
He announced that with the cooperation of all organizations and sects, national challenges and acts like religious conversion will be fought with unity.
Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh thanked the representatives of all the organizations who came to the event and expressed his commitment that they are the servants of the Panth and will always serve the Panth with dedication.
On this occasion, Baba Balbir Singh 96th Croreri, the head of the Shiromani Panth Akali Buddha Dal, addressed the gathering and said that it is the need of the hour for the Panth to come together on the occasion of the 350th centenary of the martyrdom of the ninth Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib.
He appreciated the responsibility being played by the Shiromani Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami for Panthic works and national unity and expressed the commitment of cooperation from the Nihang Singh parties and organizations.
