AMRITSAR: Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, said that as per the order given by the acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj, the Shiromani Committee will take necessary action in the matter of the sacred forms of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
In the statement issued, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that the investigation into the case of holy images was conducted earlier under the patronage of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and departmental action was taken against the employees by the Shiromani Committee as per the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Now, as per the latest order, the SGPC will take further action, regarding which the SIT will contact and work will be done in accordance with the spirit of the order.
