AMRITSAR: District-wise centers have been set up to complete the visa fees and other necessary documents of the pilgrims going to Pakistan on the occasion of the Parkash Purb of the first Guru, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, who have deposited their passports at the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee office.
Giving information in this regard, Secretary of the Shiromani Committee Partap Singh said that like every year, the Shiromani Committee had asked for passports from the pilgrims to go to Pakistan on the occasion of the Parkash Gurpurb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Centers have been set up at various Gurdwaras to complete the process of the pilgrims who have deposited their passports at the Shiromani Committee office.
Pratap Singh said that the Sangats of Amritsar, Gurdaspur, Tarn Taran and Pathankot districts should reach the Yatra Department at the SGPC office on 7, 8 and 9 October. Similarly, on 7 October, the Sangats of Kapurthala district, the Sangats of State Gurdwara Kapurthala, Sangrur and Barnala, the Sangats of Gurdwara Nankiana Sangrur, Bathinda and Mansa should reach Gurdwara Haziratan Sahib Bathinda and the Sangats of Chandigarh Mohali should reach Gurdwara Amb Sahib Mohali. Similarly, on 8 October, the Sangats of Jalandhar and Phagwara should reach Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Aman Nagar near Pathankot Chowk, Jalandhar, the Sangats of Patiala and Sri Fatehgarh Sahib should contact Gurdwara Sri Dukhniwaran Sahib Patiala, Faridkot/Sri Muktsar Sahib and the Sangats of Moga should contact Gurdwara Sri Darbar Sahib Muktsar and the Sangats of Ropar should contact Gurdwara Sri Bhatta Sahib. On October 9, the Sangat of Hoshiarpur will reach Gurdwara Sri Kalgidhar Sahib near Roshan Ground Hoshiarpur, the Sangat of Ludhiana will reach Gurdwara Manji Sahib, Alamgir Ludhiana, the Sangat of Ferozepur/Fazilka will reach Gurdwara Sri Singh Sabha (Khalsa Gurdwara) Ferozepur Cantt, the Sangat of Nawanshahr/Banga will reach Gurdwara Charankanwal Sahib Patshahi Chhevin Banga.
