AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has initiated the process for the Jatha to be sent to visit the Gurdwaras in Pakistan on the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Diwas (Vaisakhi) and has asked for passports from the devotees by December 25, 2025.
Like every year, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee will send a Jatha of devotees to participate in the Khalsa Sajna Diwas celebrations at Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib in Pakistan.
Giving information in this regard, SGPC Secretary Pratap Singh said that on the occasion of Khalsa Sajna Diwas in April 2026, a Jatha of Sikh pilgrims will be sent to Pakistan, which will participate in the main event at Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib and will also visit other Gurdwaras located there.
He said that pilgrims wishing to join this jatha can submit their passports to the Travel Department at the SGPC office by December 25, 2025.
He said that it is necessary for the pilgrims to get a recommendation from the SGPC members of their respective constituencies and along with this, a photocopy of their Aadhaar card or voter card should also be given as proof of their identity.
He appealed to the devotees to submit their passports by the given time, so that the visa process can be done on time.
