SGPC provides Rs 15 lakh assistance to All India Pingalwara Charitable Society

AMRITSAR: A cheque of Rs 15 lakh was handed over to the representatives of the society by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) to the All India Pingalwara Charitable Society Amritsar today by SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami.

It is noteworthy that the SGPC provides financial support to the Pingalwara Charitable Society every year.

Advocate Dhami said that Bhagat Puran Singh has rendered unparalleled service for the welfare of humanity, whose thinking is being carried forward by the Pingalwara Society. He said that the SGPC always plays a leading role in the work done for the welfare of humanity.

He said that as per the decision taken by the Interim Committee, the SGPC provides Rs 15 lakh every year for the service work being done by the Pingalwara Charitable Society. Under this, this amount has been handed over to the administrators today.

On this occasion, SGPC member Surjit Singh Raipur, OSD S. Satbir Singh, Secretary Balwinder Singh Kahlwan, Gurinder Singh Mathrewal, Personal Secretary Shahbaz Singh, Deputy Secretary S. Harbhajan Singh Wakta, Manager of Sri Darbar Sahib Bhagwant Singh Dhangera along with others were present.
