SGPC meeting held to discuss the preparations of its budget

AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has started preparations for the forthcoming budget. In this regard a sub-committee constituted by the President of the Shiromani Committee Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami held a meeting at the headquarters of the Shiromani Committee here today
The meeting discussed the priorities of the forthcoming budget of the SGPC. 

Earlier, the Budget Sub-Committee had held various meetings with the managers, accountants and heads of educational institutions of various historical Gurdwaras managed by the SGPC during which suggestions were discussed in today's meeting.
It may be mentioned here that the Budget Sub-Committee submits its report on the budget to the Interim Committee, after the approval of which the Budget Session is called.
It is also to be mentioned that while the Shiromani Committee manages the historical Gurdwaras, it is also working for the propagation of Sikhism through the Dharam Prachar Committee.
At the same time many schools and colleges are also run by the Shiromani Committee.
Each of these organizations maintains a separate budget for services, for which a sub-committee is active.

Senior Vice President of the Shiromani Committee Mr. Raghujit Singh Virk, Junior Vice President Principal Surinder Singh, General Secretary Jathedar Karnail Singh Panjoli, Interim Committee Member Sarwan Singh Kular, Shiromani Committee Member Bhai Gurcharan Singh Grewal, Satwinder Singh Tohra, Secretary Mahinder Singh Ahli and Sukhminder Singh attended.
