SGPC conducted a painting competition dedicated to the birth anniversary of Guru Ram Das

AMRITSAR:The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, dedicated to the birth anniversary of the fourth Patshah Sri Guru Ram Das Ji, conducted painting competitions for school / college students like every year.

About 350 students from 75 schools and colleges participated in the competitions held at the local Bhai Gurdas Hall.

In these competitions three classes were formed, in which first class from sixth to eighth class, second class from ninth to twelfth and third class of graduate level students were formed.

Among the subjects given to the students were picture of Darshani Singhni, Sikh instrument Rabab / Dilruba, scene of langar service, Sham Singh Attari, Baba Baghel Singh, Bhagat Puran Singh, Bhai Lachhman Singh Dharowali, . Teja Singh Samundri Hall and scenes depicting the front of Guru ka Bagh.
For judgment in painting competitions. Hardeep Singh, Jaspal Singh and Mandeep Singh served.

On this occasion Additional Secretary of the Shiromani Committee Mr. Partap Singh and the manager of Sri Darbar Sahib. Gurinder Singh Mathrewal said that every year on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the 4th Guru, various competitions are held under which the students in this painting competition have displayed their art and created pictures related to Sikh concerns. He said that the students participating in the competitions would also be given certificates and round trip fares.

Meanwhile, he also informed that the written test to be held on September 27 would now be held on October 1 at Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib Diwan Hall.
On this occasion, among others, Superintendent . Malkit Singh Bahirwal, Manager Baghel Singh, Supervisor Kabal Singh, Dr. Dr. Ranjit Kaur Panwan Simranjit Kaur, Dr. Harpreet Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Bibi Kirandeep Kaur, Armanjit Singh, Surjit Singh Rana, Jaspal Singh etc. were present.
Students who come first during these competitions will be honored on the day of Prakash Purab.
