Schools, colleges, universities and coaching institutions will be closed until February 8

AMRITSAR: District Magistrate Mr. Gurpreet Singh Khaira has extended the revised Kovid restrictions within the limits of District Amritsar till February 8, 2022.

All schools, colleges, universities and coaching institutes will remain closed till February 8, but online education will continue. Medical and nursing colleges will be able to open as usual.
As per the restrictions, the rule of wearing masks in public places and a distance of 6 feet has been enforced. Unnecessary sightseeing in municipal areas will be stopped from 10 pm to 5 am. However, essential services will be exempted.
According to the restrictions, a maximum of 500 people will be allowed to gather inside (indoor) and a maximum of 1000 people will be allowed to gather outside (outdoor) but not more than 50% of the capacity of the available space. The Quid Protocol must be followed during the assembly.
Meanwhile according to reports from Ferozepur, As per the directions of Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur Mr. Girish Dyalan, camps were organized by the Health Department at different places in different villages of district Ferozepur for covid vaccination.
Mr. Pirthi Singh, Chief Agriculture Officer, Ferozepur participated in the covid vaccination camp at village Mallwal and sensitized the farmers, women farmers, laborers and general public about covid vaccination. The covid was vaccinated.

The Chief Agriculture Officer, Ferozepur, while making the people aware, said that it was very important for every person to be vaccinated against corona epidemic in order to prevent further progression. Mr. Jangir Singh, Agriculture Officer, Mr. Gurwant Singh, Agriculture Development Officer and other officers / staff of Health and Agriculture Department were present on the occasion.
