AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee members Bibi Paramjit Kaur Landran, Jathedar Satwinder Singh Tohra, Jathedar Malkit Singh Changal and Jathedar Rampal Singh Bahniwal expressed strong objection to the blind looting of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee money for political gains. SGPC members raised big questions on the looting of SGPC's Golak.

Bibi Paramjit Kaur Landran, while presenting evidence of the political use of SGPC funds, said that SGPC should provide maximum help to the flood affected areas, this is the voice and demand of the Panth, but the use of SGPC money through any political leader is not tolerated by this Sangat.

Bibi Landran, while making a big disclosure about the diesel distributed by Sukhbir Badal in Makrod Sahib and Moonak, said that regarding this diesel, Sukhbir Badal announced 2, 000 liters each in both places on the 5th and told the Halka Incharge Khandebad that he would personally deliver it. The next day, a letter No. 441 dated September 6 was written from Gurdwara Nankiana Sahib, which comes under the purview of SGPC, to the head office and in response, approval was received for 3, 000 liters on September 9 and this diesel was distributed through the Halka Incharge of Sukhbir Singh Badal faction, Gagandeep Singh Khandebad. Evidence was presented regularly through the media.

Further, Bibi Ladders revealed that today the SGPC's internal committee meeting was held in Amritsar in which the open resolution passed testifies to the fact that after all the announcements of Sukhbir Badal, all kinds of goods like fodder, ration, utensils, tents, diesel etc. are being purchased and sent from the SGPC's Golak The Sikh Panth demands an investigation by a public participation committee.

They appealed to the Sikh Panth to start a "Gurdwara Reform Movement 2" together so that the SGPC can be made independent.

Jathedar Satwinder Singh Tohra, while releasing videos of the Golak being used by political leaders, raised questions on the President SGPC that why permission was given for an open political game being played with the ten rupees donated by the Sangat. Jathedar Tohra said that Sukhbir Badal has misled the Sangat by putting the diesel and other goods being given by SGPC in his personal account. Sukhbir Singh Badal is continuously using the SGPC's golek for political interests.

Jathedar Malkit Singh described the action taken against the employees in the case of theft of 450 bags of cement in the previous day as a disgrace and demanded that the membership of the member whose house was stolen with 450 bags of cement be cancelled and a case be registered and his entire time be investigated.

He stressed that the central government had held the SGPC elections 14 years ago and they have been pending for 10 years, the central government should immediately hold elections so that the Panth can elect honest members to take care of the Gurdwaras and the Guru Ghar can be liberated.

Along with this, Jathedar Rampal Singh Bahniwal said that if the elections are not announced by the center, then we will start a struggle to hold elections under the leadership of Giani Harpreet Singh. Regarding this, after the improvement of the flood situation, efforts will be intensified to mobilize the Sikh Sangat.
