RUPNAGAR: The Rupnagar Police today busted an arms smuggling racket being operated from Madhya Pradesh from leads given by a gangster Bharaty Bhushan alias Pammi on December 2.
SSP Rupnagar Vivek Soni said that the Police teams had raided the house of key accused Deepak Singh @prince alias Manoj in the forests of village Umarati PS Barla district Badwani under the leadership of DSP Talvinder Singh Gill and CIA Inspector Satnam Singh. Police recovered 20 pistols (0.30 and 0.32) alongwith 40 magazines. He said that special teams have been deputed to arrest the accused.
